In the last few days following President Donald Trump's direct tweet to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, there has been a huge wave of response from the rest of the league.

Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall was the latest to chime in as he gave a blunt answer when asked about the entire situation.

This falls in line with the likes of several of his peers that include teammate Bradley Beal, who took to Twitter over the weekend to voice his strong stance. This has seen the likes of LeBron James and Kobe Bryant call out Trump on social media. What makes Wall's comment interesting is that he plays in the nation's capital, not too far from the White House.

That said, there has been a huge outpour of support for the Warriors throughout this entire process that even had NBA commissioner Adam Silver release a public statement backing the players. It has become quite clear that Trump's comments have impacted many in and around the league to become vocal about the issue.

What this entire situation has also done is unite the league together, which was also seen in a greater degree by many players in the NFL prior to this past weekend. There is clearly no toleration for this in the world of professional sports.
