Gilbert Arenas is remembered as one of the fiercest offensive weapons the NBA has ever seen. Like other stars, though, the former Washington Wizards guard is hounded by an infamous career moment — this one involving LeBron James.

Back in Game 6 of the Wizards' 2006 first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Arenas found himself at the charity stripe with a chance to give his team a 3-point cushion with 15 seconds remaining. He missed both free throws but it didn't come without an interesting moment when James approached him with a few words after Arenas' first shot.

The Cavs wound up emerging victorious in Washington, eliminating the Wizards, and the loss left Arenas with an indelible “what if” cloud. In an interview with Bleacher Report's Leo Sepkowitz, the former All-Star guard revealed that he shot over 2,000 free throws at the gym after the game.

Arenas is a special athlete and the ridiculous amount of free throws he took speaks highly of his dedication to his craft during his heyday. He was a second-round pick of the Golden State Warriors and no one expected the former Arizona Wildcat to burst into the scene as he did and take the NBA by storm.

During his prime, Agent Zero displayed confidence akin to legends. Arenas was comparable to Stephen Curry before the two-time MVP made his mark. While now a shadow of his old self, the guy remains to be one of the greatest draft steals in league history.
