Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall is coming to the defense of Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James.

There were some media people who bashed James over his AAU parenting style. The Lakers star was filmed joining the layup line of his son's team and ran onto the court in excitement after his son's team completed an alley-oop play.

Wall says the criticism James gets is ridiculous. The Wizards' floor general says what LeBron is doing is great for the kids.

“It's a gift and a curse being who we are. There's nothing you can do right,” Wall told Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington at his backpack giveaway in Prince George's County. “At the end of the day, in the position we're in, if we're not doing enough then we're not good enough. When we're doing too much then it's too much.

“You don't have a lot of dads that have the opportunity to be at their kid's game. When I grew up, my dad was in jail and my dad passed. So, I didn't have a father around. Look at some of those kids that don't have a father figure. LeBron is that for those guys. To see him at games, it's just a blessing.”

LeBron James' dad wasn't around when he was a kid. The King is just giving his kids everything he didn't have. To criticize him for that is really shortsighted.

John Wall has a son named Ace. The Wizards star will probably go wild at his son's games, too. There's nothing wrong with being a proud father.
