WWE 2K22 1.12 Patch Notes are live, and we're here to give you the lowdown on what new stuff you're getting from this new version of the game. On top of the upcoming new DLC that will introduce five new wrestlers to the game, one meaty patch update will bring in seven new playable wrestlers to the roster as well.

WWE 2K22 version 1.12 Patch Notes

According to WWE 2K22's official website, Patch 1.12 introduces the following major changes:

  • Added playable MyRISE characters
  • Added several moves to the Signature and Finisher categories
  • Various improvements and enhancements

The WWE 2K22 1.12 Patch adds a lot of fan-requested content, which follows the “Most In Demand” theme of the Most Wanted Pack DLC that comes out just a little later after the patch. The new Patch adds characters that players can fight in MyRISE mode to the base game modes, namely these wrestlers:

  • Alexa Bliss '20
  • Shinsuke Nakamura
  • King Booker
  • King Corbin
  • Dominik Dijakovic
  • Nikki Cross
  • Shawn Michaels '18

That's the biggest addition to the game through this patch and it gives us hope that the wrestlers hidden or locked behind the MyFACTION game mode could eventually find their way to the base game modes with enough pressure from fans.

  • Various tweaks and improvements to CAS parts to improve clipping bugs
  • Crash fix for editing base custom side plates when lettering has been applied to them
  • Fix a crash that can occur when copying side plates after making changes to them

  • Fixed a crash that can occur during the Kendo Karnage storyline

  • Fixed a bug that prevented minor shows from being created
  • Fixed a crash that can occur when transitioning from the edit superstar menus in Universe and Create a Moveset
  • Fixed a crash when deleting custom images that are in use within Universe modes

Multiple balance changes and bug fixes have been mentioned in the WWE 2K22 1.12 Patch Notes, but just like in every previous patch, this new update randomly breaks or ruins existing Universe modes. I have seen comments over at the WWE Games community at Reddit complaining how the new update actually breaks adding new custom PPVs to their Universe Modes from May to September, so this new patch, while meaty, isn't exactly perfect.
