Although WrestleMania was a solid evening of entertainment for WWE fans, it sounds like things took a turn for the worse for a former star. Hall of Fame wrestler Tammy Sytch hit the news cycle again after it’s been revealed she was involved in a car crash in March.
According to TMZ, Tammy Sytch, “allegedly caused a car crash last month in which a 75-year-old man died and police suspect she was under the influence of booze at the time of the wreck.” It’s unknown why it took till now for this horrible news to come to light, but the former WWE star is under scrutiny for her actions.
Furthermore, “a spokesperson for the Ormond Beach Police Department said they are actively investigating the crash and said toxicology results could ultimately lead to criminal charges against Sytch,” per TMZ.
This isn’t the first time the WWE Hall of Famer had a run-in with the law. According to TMZ, Tammy Sytch has been, “been arrested at least six times for DWI, including back in 2019 in New Jersey.” Additionally, Sytch had been arrested earlier in the year as well for threatening to kill a man with scissors.
This is not an ideal situation for Tammy Sytch or anyone involved. It sounds like the former WWE star is going through troubling times, but it does not excuse her actions by any means. Having said that, hopefully, she receives the help she needs. Additionally, condolences to the family of the 75-year old man who passed away.
