There have been some recent rumors that the Los Angeles Clippers are going to think about becoming sellers at the trade deadline and Marcus Morris could be one of the first players that they do decide to trade.

He's having a very impressive season this year as he's currently averaging 16.2 points per game, five rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists. Morris is also shooting the three-point shot at a very high rate just like he has done throughout most of his career. He is essentially everything that a contending team would want and it would make a lot of sense if some of the top teams in both conferences call Los Angeles to try to get a deal done.

Let's take a look at three teams that should be making a phone call to the Clippers to try to get a deal done for Marcus Morris.

Best Trade Destinations Marcus Morris

3. Milwaukee Bucks

Marcus Morris would make a lot of sense on the Milwaukee Bucks since they do not have PJ Tucker anymore after letting him go in the offseason. He doesn't do everything that Tucker does but he does bring that tough attitude that the Bucks desperately needed last season. Marcus could be another guy to come in and give them that same edge that Tucker did.

Factor in that the Bucks could also use somebody to throw at a guy like Kevin Durant who can defend at a high level and it would make a lot of sense. Morris is 6 ft 8′ and that's something that the Bucks are going to need come playoff time because they're always going to want as many guys as they possibly can to throw at Durant.

Although Milwaukee doesn't necessarily have a ton of trade options at the moment, they do still have a few guys who are definitely going to be traded. It will be interesting to see if Milwaukee does decide to go after him because it would make a lot of sense from both perspectives. He can also shoot the three-point shot at a good rate considering he is shooting 37.5% this year and shot 47.3% on 5 attempts per game a season ago. He is everything that Milwaukee needs and this would be the perfect place for him to end up.

2. Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls could be another interesting landing spot for Marcus Morris because the Bulls need some height and somebody who can defend at that 4-5 position. This is essentially what everything that Marcus Morris does bring because he is a power forward and has also played that center position for parts throughout his career.

The Bulls are going to need somebody who can attempt to get stops and make it tough on guys like Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo come playoff time and there's nobody better than having a 6 ft 8′ forward who can also be thrown into the mix in Marcus Morris. The Bulls do not do a great job at defending the rim and Morris could be another guy who can be thrown into that starting rotation to help their defensive side of the ball to defend the rim while still also being a positive on the offensive side of it.

It wouldn't be crazy if the Bulls decide to just play this season out considering that they have had so much success with their current roster. If they do want to win an NBA championship, they need to address that issue of getting a forward or a center because if they don't, they are going to have a very tough time beating the Bucks or the Nets. It was already going to be a tough task, but if they do not add somebody, it is going to be even tougher.

1. Utah Jazz

This could be a great landing spot for him because the Jazz are looking for somebody who could play that forward position. They also are another team that is a high-level defensive team so him coming in would be perfect for them because it would just be adding another elite Defender. With the way that the Jazz like to shoot the ball, it would make sense they go after him because he is a great three-point shooter and he wouldn't hurt their offense at all.

We saw last season with the Bucks that all they needed was a guy like PJ Tucker to come in and help their team win a championship. Perhaps Marcus Morris could do the same thing for this Utah team and help them get over that drought in the playoffs.
