The Baltimore Ravens are a stacked team as we head into training camp. Their playoff run was cut short last season after losing to the Buffalo Bills. The front office has revamped the wide receiver group in the hopes of improving the passing game next season. With one of the most dangerous rush games in the league, the Ravens' offense should be elite once again.

The defensive side of the ball is nothing to ignore, though, as the roster has the talent to play like a top unit in the league. They're great at stopping the run and have a solid secondary to help eliminate the pass. Baltimore will likely make the playoffs, but the club will need everyone to step up in order to make a Super Bowl appearance.

There will be plenty of positional battles for the backup roles on this roster. We may see some changes on the offensive line, as that was an area the team struggled in last season.

Here are three cut candidates on the Ravens' roster bubble entering training camp.

Andre Smith

The Ravens made a few moves to create depth at the right tackle position, so former first-round pick Andre Smith could be on the chopping block in training camp. He hasn't lived up to expectations and has been inconsistent throughout his career.

Baltimore is rather deep at right tackle, and Smith seems to be on the outside looking in for now. According to Yahoo, Smith is already on the roster bubble heading into camp. For that reason, we should see Smith cut from the roster sooner rather than later.

Ty'Son Williams

It's no secret the Ravens have an elite run game. Between Lamar Jackson, J.K. Dobbins, and Gus Edwards, Baltimore has a three-headed dragon in the backfield. However, the Ravens also have three other running backs on the current roster in Justice Hill, Ty'Son Williams, and Nate McCrary.

Baltimore won't have five running backs on the final roster, so someone likely receives the boot. Ty'Son Williams is the most likely, as the coaching staff seems to like Justice Hill, and McCrary could be put on the practice squad. The coaching staff will have Hill, Williams, and McCrary battle it out for a depth spot, but it's not looking good for Ty'Son Williams right now.

Patrick Mekari

The center position was a problem for the Ravens last year, so we should see some changes. Patrick Mekari filled in as the starter near the second half of the season. He wasn't spectacular or much better than the previous starter. In fact, Mekari was the center who snapped the ball over Lamar Jackson's head in the playoff game, which led to a concussion for Jackson.

The Ravens have already been experimenting with their offensive line to find the best center available. According to Baltimore Sports and Life, the coaching staff has had Bradley Bozeman taking reps at center during OTAs. They seem to like what Bozeman brings to the table, which means we could be seeing Patrick Mekari hit the pavement this offseason.
