The New York Giants are coming off a disappointing season. They finished 6-10 and second in the NFC East. 3. Wide receiver Darius Slayton
Darius Slayton was expected to break out last season after a productive rookie year but struggled in 2020. He had a decent season but it was not to the level everyone was expecting. With Golladay and Toney joining him at receiver, Slayton will have the opportunity to get one on one matchups. If Slayton breaks out don't be surprised if the Giants receiving core instantly becomes near the top of the league.
2. Offensive tackle Andrew Thomas
The Giants 2020 first round pick Andrew Thomas had an up and down rookie campaign. He improved throughout the season and showed his ability to be a franchise tackle. Thomas is tasked with protecting the quarterbacks blindside and it is hard to have success in a rookie season.
The offensive line has been a position of weakness for the Giants but the progression of Thomas will help them improve.
1. Safety Xavier McKinney
Xavier McKinney was one of the top safeties in the 2020 draft and he showed promise in his rookie season. Although he only played in 6 games he made his impact known on defense. McKinney only missed one tackle and had a key interception to clinch a must win game in week 17. He is primed to build on this and continue his early success into next season. McKinney can be a defensive leader in the secondary for the Giants team for years to come.

The Giants look ready for a redemption season this year. After missing the playoffs by one game they are a dangerous team to go up against. The vast improvements to the roster will help the team progress to another level. With some young talent on the roster it is important for the team to coalesce and become a great team.
