Tom Brady is a Hall of Fame quarterback. However, he's not done just yet. The quarterback decided to return for at least one more year in 2020.

There's a little bit of an issue though. He's a free agent. So at this time, there's no way to know where he'll end up.

While the smart money is still on him returning to the New England Patriots, it's not 100% a certainty. Brady has been linked to a number of other teams.

One of those teams are the Indianapolis Colts. Here are three reasons they would be a perfect fit for Brady.

Offensive Line

Tom Brady is still a great quarterback. However, he's 42 and will turn 43 in August. He's not exactly young anymore.

That means a few things. First of all, he's not fast. Brady's never been a runner, and at this age that's more evident than ever.

So you can't really ask the quarterback to scramble much. That means the line needs to make sure he can stay in the pocket.

This also means that you don't want Brady taking too many hits. So you need an offensive line that will keep him up right.

Indianapolis is widely known as one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. They are definitely up for the task of protecting Brady.

That could keep him healthy through 2020, and maybe even convince him to stay around for another season.

Weapons

Indianapolis doesn't exactly have the best supporting cast. However, there are two things that could make it a perfect fit for Tom Brady.

First of all, he's done a lot with a little plenty of times in the past.

The Patriots have gotten Brady a lot of in the past. At the same time though, they have struggled with that at times.

For example, last season Brady was working with rookie receivers and undrafted players at times. He had no tight ends and his running backs were struggling.

So Brady can do more, with less.

At the same time, the Colts also do have some big time weapons. Marlon Mack is a great running back and T.Y. Hilton is one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the NFL.

Brady could do some serious damage with Hilton. I'm talking elite level production. Meanwhile, Parris Campbell and Zach Pascal could turn into big-time players with Brady at quarterback.

Legitimate Contenders

Before Andrew Luck shocked the NFL world by retiring before the 2019 season, the Colts were Super Bowl contenders.

Seriously, everyone had them as a team that could be in the conversation for years to come. However, Luck retiring put a wrench in that. All of a sudden, people thought they would be bad.

That didn't happen though. Instead, they went 7-9 and were in the playoff hunt all the way up to Week 17.

Imagine what they could do with a quarterback like Brady. One that's won countless games and Super Bowls.

Throw him into the mix and they go right back to Super Bowl contenders.
