The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might have had the most bizarre offseason of any franchise so far. Tom Brady returned from retirement then shortly after, Bruce Arians retired as the head coach and took a front-office job. Now, Todd Bowles takes over as head coach and Brady might be through the roof about it.

There were rumors of a rift between Tom Brady and Bruce Arians but nothing really came to fruition in the news cycle. However, many still speculate that Brady had a hand in Arians' departure as the Buccaneers' head coach due to these rumors. Whether they're true or not, there are a few reasons why the future Hall of Fame quarterback is happy with the recent maneuvers.

With Arians now working a job in the front office, the offense may become more creative than it had been. Additionally, Todd Bowles was a highly coveted head coaching candidate and now takes over as the leader of the Buccaneers. Lastly, Brady and Byron Leftwich will be able to thrive running Tampa Bay's offense together.

With that said, here are three reasons why Tom Brady is elated to no longer have Bruce Arians as the Buccaneers' head coach.

Potential Reasons Tom Brady Wanted Bruce Arians Gone as Head Coach

3. Buccaneers can get more creative on offense

It's not like the Buccaneers had a predictable offense or anything, but we could see more creativeness regardless. With the offensive firepower Tampa Bay has, Tom Brady will continue to excel as the quarterback for this team. Although he's up there in age, there's no reason to believe the future Hall of Famer will suddenly decline.

Depending on how the NFL Draft goes, the Buccaneers could have a plethora of weapons at their disposal. We could see more sweeps and screens, or even unique play-action plays that Bruce Arians might never have in his offensive playbook.

2. Todd Bowles is ready for a head coaching job

Bruce Arians is getting up there in age and had already retired once for health concerns. Now, Todd Bowles takes over and we could see the Buccaneers improve. Having a younger head coach with potential is exactly what this franchise needed, and Tom Brady is likely ecstatic about it.

The defense will likely remain elite while Tom Brady may receive more freedom to input his knowledge on the game. We'll see how it plays out for the Buccaneers, but Brady is likely more than happy having Todd Bowles leading the charge.

1. Tom Brady and Byron Leftwich have the offense locked down

With Arians working in the front office now, Tom Brady and Byron Leftwich will likely be working more closely than ever before. Brady understands the game better than anybody and Leftwich has been a phenomenal play-caller since becoming an offensive coordinator.

We'll likely see these two nearly act as co-offensive coordinators while Brady partakes in a player/coach role like Jackie Moon. Either way, the Buccaneers are in good hands and will be a problem in the NFC this year.
