The offseason has been absolutely bonkers and the Kansas City Chiefs added on top of that on Wednesday. They traded away superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for five draft picks. The front office could use those picks as ammo to make another big deal in the offseason. For that reason, we take a look at three Chiefs trades that could come to fruition soon.

Considering the AFC West is ridiculously loaded, the Chiefs might want to make another trade soon. Otherwise, Kansas City could find itself as the odd man out of the playoff equation. It would make sense for the front office to find a wily veteran while simultaneously selecting an exciting rookie in the 2022 NFL Draft. However, they could opt to reel in a young stud as well.

At the end of the day, three players stand out as potential trade candidates for the Chiefs. Kansas City must find a replacement for Tyreek Hill after dishing him away to the Dolphins. So, don't be too shocked if the front office makes a deal happen sooner, rather than later.

With that said, here are three Chiefs trades Kansas City should make to replace Tyreek Hill.

Chiefs Trades

3. Adam Thielen

His best years are behind him, but Adam Thielen would do damage in Kansas City. He still has plenty of juice and would serve as a great option alongside Travis Kelce and Juju Smith-Schuster. His veteran presence would allow for the Chiefs to continue playing at a high level and he'd be a great target for Patrick Mahomes.

Additionally, acquiring Thielen means the Chiefs might consider drafting a wide receiver early in the upcoming NFL Draft. So, Kansas City can continue playing as a playoff-caliber franchise while setting itself up for the future.

2. Tyler Lockett

Another veteran receiver who would be a tremendous fit for the Chiefs is Tyler Lockett. There are already trade rumors rumbling around the league as the Seattle Seahawks have entered a rebuild. Lockett is a true deep threat that can stretch the field, which is perfect for Mahomes in general. Not to mention, he brings a similar veteran presence as Adam Thielen.

Having Lockett play as the deep threat, Juju Smith-Schuster would thrive in the underneath routes. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce remains as the top target in Kansas City. Adding Tyler Lockett also allows the Chiefs to focus on other areas in the draft, which could provide a much-needed boost to the defense. Don't be shocked if the front office calls up Seattle soon, as Tyler Lockett would be a great fit for this offense.

1. DJ Moore

DJ Moore is undoubtedly one of the most talented young receivers in the league. Unfortunately, we haven't seen him hit his peak yet as he's dealt with mediocre quarterback play throughout his career. If the Carolina Panthers are willing to trade him away, the Chiefs should be making that move as soon as possible.

If the Chiefs find a way to land Moore, then they should remain as the team to beat in the AFC West. He's an incredibly gifted wide receiver that could replace Tyreek Hill seamlessly. With Patrick Mahomes under center, we'd finally see DJ Moore at his best. This is a deal Kansas City should highly consider if Carolina is willing to make a deal come to fruition.
