Josh Norman spent most of the offseason as a free agent before signing with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. However, the 10-year veteran revealed that he had absolutely no problems adjusting to their defense and even made a rather puzzling comparison. Via PFT:

“I executed what they wanted me to do,” Norman said. “For coming off a week of practice, I’m getting rolling. But it’s like riding a bike too. I’ve been in this game a while and I know what it wants from me.”

The 49ers cornerback indeed took just one week to get ready as he played in Week 2 against the Eagles last weekend. He did well too, locking up rookie Devonta Smith for the most part.

After all, when you play this long in the league, it doesn’t exactly take a long time to get adjusted. He’s been on three different teams before landing in San Fran so it’s not like Norman hasn’t had to quickly get adapted before.

The 49ers are off to a great start, going unbeaten through their first two games. They beat the Lions in a 41-33 thriller in the season opener, then won a low-scoring 17-11 against Philly in Week 2. Norman and Co. will have a tough test on Sunday though as they face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
