The San Francisco 49ers slid down to a two-loss record after facing the Kirk Cousins-led Minnesota Vikings. A lot of it was because of missed opportunities to delay their opponents' offense and let Brock Purdy convert downs on the other end. The 452 total yards for the Vikings and 325 for the 49ers were a testament to how unstoppable one team was over the other. Kyle Shanahan unveiled what they should have been able to do better against the now three-win team, via 95.7 The Game.

“We didn’t have any sacks today. When you go against a quarterback like that you’ve got to make him uncomfortable. He didn’t seem too uncomfortable,” was the declaration that the 49ers defense needed from Coach Kyle Shanahan after their loss.

Kirk Cousins did look too comfortable in the pocket. The Vikings' offensive line did all that they could to prevent any sacks. In addition, the 49ers secondary could only force one interception out of him. Cousins had 35 completions on 45 attempts which led to 378 passing yards throughout the whole four quarters. The sour cherries on top were the two touchdowns Cousins had to seal the deal in favor of Minnesota.

The same cannot be said for Brock Purdy and the 49ers offense. He was sacked one time while also having thrown two interceptions. Losing a fumble once in the match also hurt their chances of mounting a come-from-behind victory. The San Francisco secondary finally bled and it led to a loss. Truly, no one in this league is invincible for the whole season.
