The San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship. The 49ers upset the defending Super Bowl champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and people are still finding ways to discredit Jimmy Garoppolo.

Despite the criticism coming his way, the 49ers quarterback has nothing but support from his team. Deebo Samuel silenced the haters with a tweet Thursday morning.

The star wide receiver noted Garoppolo's legendary win percentage, which, according to Daily Norseman, is the same as Peyton Manning at .702.

49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk also tweeted love for Jimmy G ahead of their NFC Championship Game.

Now, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is coming to the defense of his quarterback. Shanahan supported his quarterback Thursday afternoon, stating that he is “one of the main reasons” the team is just one game away from the Super Bowl.

ESPN reporter Nick Wagoner tweeted the news on Thursday.

Both Shanahan and Garoppolo have been with the 49ers since 2017. The head coach was the former offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons, while the quarterback was Tom Brady's backup in New England. Together, the duo led the 2019 49ers team to the Super Bowl, but fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.

While he isn't talked about as much as the rest of the quarterbacks in the playoffs, Garoppolo has had a great season. He threw for 3,810 yards and 20 touchdowns and had a 98.7 quarterback rating in the regular season.
