Now that the news has sunk in a bit, Sherman shared his reaction to the news in a quote shared by Bleacher Report.
"I saw him make two free throws and walk off with a torn Achilles, and once I tore mine, I knew I had to walk off. Like he said before, we're different animals but the same beast."

Everyone feels some type of way about the legacy that Bryant left in sports. His confidence, work ethic, and passion to be the best was obvious in everything he did. He is truly going to be missed by fans and athletes in every sport and league.
Sherman had something very unique in common with Bryant. As the quote mentioned, Sherman and Bryant both suffered through a torn Achilles. It is one of the most difficult issues for a professional athlete to bounce back from, but they both were able to make it happen.
Bryant is going to be missed greatly. He touched so many lives and leaves behind a wife and three daughters. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bryant family in this difficult time.
