San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has led his team to an 8-0 record so far this season and they are looking like a legitimate contender in the NFC. Following his team's latest win on Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals, Garoppolo hilariously shot his shot at sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

In a video that has been going viral, Garoppolo called Andrews “baby” in a hilarious post-game interview. Andrews laughed and blushed at the comment.

Take a look at the video of Jimmy G doing work for yourself:

Can anyone really blame Garoppolo? The shot fell into the basket, as he got exactly the reaction he was looking for from Andrews.

In addition to shooting his shot at Andrews, Garoppolo put together a masterful performance against the Cardinals. Despite the early season criticism that he was receiving, Garoppolo has simply been getting stronger as the season progresses. San Francisco has to feel good about their chances this season.

Against the Cardinals, Garoppolo ended up completing 28 of his 37 pass attempts for 317 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. That is exactly the kind of breakout performance the 49ers have been waiting to see. If he can use that as momentum moving forward, the 49ers are going to be tough to beat.

Next up for the 49ers will be a Monday Night Football showdown with the NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks. That game will be a major test for Garoppolo and the rest of the team. If they can pick up that win, they will send a statement to the rest of the NFL that they are a team to take seriously.
