Some argue that Klutch Sports badly mismanaged the circumstances of Ben Simmons' trade request from the Philadelphia 76ers. Others maintain that the aggressive tactics of Rich Paul and company have all been in their client's best interest, especially once it became clear Simmons' mental health was a factor in this ongoing stalemate with his team.

No matter where they stand on Klutch's approach to his impending separation from Philadelphia, though, anyone could admit the agency's All-Star vote for Simmons rings a bit hollow.

That's Klutch's official Twitter account voting for Simmons to attend the midseason festivities in Cleveland on February 20th. He hasn't appeared in a single game for the Sixers this season after the team failed to grant his offseason trade request.

The three-time All-Star's performance was publicly criticized by both Doc Rivers and Joel Embiid following Philadelphia's Game 7 loss to the underdog Atlanta Hawks in last year's playoffs, seemingly putting an end to a long-rocky marriage. 76ers head decision-maker Daryl Morey had previously attempted to trade Simmons for former Houston Rockets compatriot James Harden, who was ultimatlely dealt to the Brooklyn Nets.

It bears mentioning, of course, that Klutch has solicited All-Star votes for all of its clients on social media. Its tweet for Simmons might as well have been automated. Then again, maybe not everyone agrees that an All-Star vote for Simmons is so ridiculous. Klutch's tally has been retweeted thousands and thousands of times already.
