The Las Vegas Aces are the defending champions and are set to begin their playoff run to defend their title. They've consistently been the top team in the WNBA this season led by MVP candidate A'ja Wilson and a strong cast of supporting stars in Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young. The Aces have a strong locker room and strong leadership, but the heart and soul of the team might not be who people would expect. Aces backup guard Sydney Colson has gone viral with her hilarious sense of humor and she acknowledges that she's taken on a bit of a leadership role in keeping the team loose and having fun. Now, she'll get to bring her humor to the big screen.

While Sydney Colson's unique brand of humor is crucial for the Aces, she'll get to make people laugh across the globe. Colson is partnering with fellow WNBA player Theresa Plaisance in a new comedy show called ‘The Syd + TP Show.' It's set to premiere on FuboTV on the Maximum Effort channel on Sept. 18. The premise of the show is Colson and Plaisance on a mission to become the most famous WNBA players.

Colson is a nine year WNBA veteran. She was originally drafted by the Connecticut Sun with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft. She's played for the New York Liberty, Minnesota Lynx and Chicago Sky in addition to the Aces. From 2015-2017 she played for the Aces when they were still the San Antonio Stars.
