Call of Duty Warzone World Series of Warzone – Everything you need to know

Activision announced a set of four highly competitive events with $300,000 prize pools each. The game features a convoluted ruleset, but everything still boils down to kills and placement. The biggest names in Call of Duty Warzone today will be joining the tournament. Meanwhile, hopefuls also have the chance to join in through the qualifiers. WSOW's events will feature 30 highly skilled players each, making these events some of the biggest concentrations of COD skill ever. Players will be drafted by team captains, who will be picking from pools of pros and qualified participants. Players from the Call of Duty League may also join, as Activision will directly invite 12 CODL teams to participate. To balance the teams, no more than two pros will be allowed to play in the same squad.

There will be two kinds of events in the WSOW. The trios events will feature ten trio squads, while the duos will feature fifteen duo squads. The first qualifier start on Monday, May 24, 2021. Players can register for the qualifiers here. There will be three qualifiers next week, one each day from Monday to Thursday, with the Qualifier Finals happening on May 29-30. The first event will be the NA Trios competition, which will commence on June 23, 2021. It will be followed by the Europe Trios, then by the NA Duos and Europe Duos. Activision has yet to reveal the dates for the latter three events.
