PAC has been a member of AEW since the beginning, debuting at All Out 2019 well before the promotion had a weekly television show or employed wrestlers like CM Punk, Miro, or FTR. Though he's wrestled in a few big matches, recorded signature moments, and even had a few title shots, he's never held a championship in Tony Khan's promotion… until now.

That's right, after learning a spot in the All-Atlantic Championship match at Forbidden Door, PAC was able to overcome his biggest rival, Malakai Black, the ascending Clark Connors, and the biggest man in the match, Miro, to earn a win, a submission, and the right to call himself the first and only All-Atlantic Champion in promotion history.

And what, you may ask, is the keyword in that sentence? Well, that would be earned, as PAC had to overcome hits, kicks, and a Game Over attempt by Miro that had him wrenched back in pain for the better part of a minute, and through it all, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion worked through the pain and found a way to win it all, hitting Connors with the brutalizer that only lasted a few seconds before his foe was done.

For PAC, and AEW as a whole, this win is the exact kind of moment Forbidden Door was built for as, despite having wrestlers from multiple companies, countries, and former promotions in the ring together, “The Bastard” secured the win and made long-time fans of All Elite Wrestling – and the fans in attendance at the United Center – very happy indeed.
