One of the biggest draws of AEW in it's early years was Kenny Omega. The star wrestler has been part of the up-and-coming brand since it's inception, and for good reason. He's one of the best in-ring workers in the business, and he's got the attitude and the charisma to go along with his talent. Even during his absence, he's found a way to participate in the biggest events.

However, Omega has been dealing with several injuries that have limited his ability to perform. In fact, the AEW superstar hasn't seen the ring since November of 2021. Omega has been dealing with many of these lingering injuries, and by the looks of things, he's tired of the grind he has to go through.

In a recent livestream appearance, Kenny Omega admitted that he is considering not coming back from his injuries. The AEW star talked about the painful rehab process and the many setbacks he has suffered along the way. (via Fightful)

“If I get another major setback, that's it. That's it, I'm done, I can't do this ever again,” he stated. “Two times, three times a day, really painful rehab, not even knowing what it's going to be like when I get back in the ring. I have no clue. It's scary, actually. You see people, they come back to the ring and you're just happy to see them back.”

Omega goes on to talk about the weight of the expectations surrounding his return. He said that another reason why he might not want to return is the potential backlash from fans if he doesn't return at 100%. Ultimately, it's his own decision if he wants to carry on performing for the AEW (or anywhere else for that matter).
