Lance Archer suffered a huge neck injury that has forced him to take some time off. The AEW star is finally set to return to the ring but things could have been so much worse.
Lance Archer recently spoke to Busted Open Radio about his recent neck injury and just how dangerous it was. The AEW man could have been paralyzed or died had there been a tiny difference in the way he fell.
“I feel great, Beyond blessed for the fact that I didn't break my neck,” the AEW star said. “A centimeter a different way and it could have been a completely different result. I basically gave myself an extreme version of whiplash because I bounced off my forehead. Had it been any part of the crown of my head, I probably would have been paralyzed or dead. I'm beyond blessed that didn't happen.
“The medical staff (in AEW) has been extremely amazing,” Archer continued. “They kept me on the road and kept me in physical therapy with our guys and I've done everything they asked me to do before coming back and even before this match, the different physical exercises they've asked me to do, I've stayed on top of and they've been happy. I feel great.”
AEW and Lance Archer are back tonight for Dynamite on TBS, the event is expected to be very fun for fans. He'll be taking on Adam Page in a very exciting Texas Deathmatch that many pro wrestling fans have been looking forward to.
