Alexander Shlemenko's wife Alena Shlemenko is a semi-unknown person. It is not known how Alena and Alexander met. However, the couple got married in 2012.
Alena Schlemenko, also known before as Alena Miyznikova, was born on December 23, 1989. According to her VK profile, she hails from Omsk, Russia. Alena studied in Omskaya Yuridicheskaya Akademiya.
Based on Alena’s Instagram profile, it looks like she currently serves as a full time housewife in the Shlemenko household. As of this writing, the couple has five children together, with their latest born last May 2022.
Although Alexander has an unorthodox form of fighting, his views towards women say otherwise. In a controversial interview that drew flak, Alexander claimed that women are to blame in 90% of the divorce cases. On top of that, he also expressed his dismay towards women fighting in the MMA scene. Due to his traditional perspective, which is frowned upon in this modern age of women empowerment, Alexander also admits that he and his wife have opposing views towards the modern woman.
“There are enough of them in music and on TV. I don't watch it at all, except for sports programs and fights, but my wife watches. I don't go to the movies, she goes. Many things about nutrition. Alena is younger and in some moments it is difficult to get through to her. We are substituted for concepts through those who are weaker – women and children. In general, women must be taken seriously. Turn on any channel and see what they have become there – all the talk about sex, alcohol and incomprehensible things,” Alexander Shlemenko said.
Nevertheless, Alena has remained supportive by attending to his fights and training. In fact, during 2015, Alexander was suspended by the California State Athletic Commission for three years after failing a drug test in February. Around this time, Alena didn’t shy away from publicly fending off Alexander’s critics on social media.
As the wife of Alexander, Alena spends a lot of her time as a hands-on mother to their children. Although she consistently attends Alexander's fights, Alena seems like she also engages in sports during her free time. As per her posts, it seems like Alena also does yoga, swimming, and tennis.
