Being the best baseball player on the planet certainly comes with its perks. Among them, is that there aren't many people who can justifiably critique your swing. A joke-tweet from hitting coach Matt Lisle made the rounds on social media after he posted a video of Mike Trout taking some batting practice, pretending the Los Angeles Angels star was his friends' son looking for hitting tips. Well, a 17u baseball team took the bait and tried to critique Trout's swing, only to get trolled mercilessly after fans pointed out who was actually hitting the baseballs.

First off, we have no idea how this Twitter user possibly thought the batter (who is literally Mike Trout) was even in the realm of being eight years old. But more importantly, the fact that they so boldly attempted to critique the swing of the greatest hitter in baseball was flat-out embarrassing.

Well, Trout himself caught wind of the exchange going down on Twitter, and the Angels star took some time out of his day to hop online and get involved in the mockery himself, hilariously tossing a series of emojis into the ring to show that he too had seen their gaffe.

Not the best day for the Evansville Devils 17u Baseball team, but surely they'll recover after getting trolled by the three-time AL MVP. It's safe to say Trout isn't going to be heeding their advice too closely, as he's doing just fine against the high-velocity pitchers the team claimed he'd struggle to hit off of.
