Mike Francesca owned the New York City airwaves for over three decades and even though he's retired now, that doesn't mean the ex-radio host doesn't like to troll athletes who played for any franchise in NYC. For example, Noah Syndergaard, who just left the Mets to sign a one-year, $21 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels.

Francesca took to Twitter and claimed that Thor basically quit on New York and the hard-throwing righty took that to heart, firing a savage NSFW message right back at him:

Yikes. There is some clear hate between the two. In fairness, it seemed unlikely Syndergaard was going to return to Citi Field. He pitched just two innings across 2020 and 21′ due to injuries. The Angels present a brand new opportunity for him and a chance to regain his All-Star form.

After all, Thor is a Cy Young-type arm who was once one of the best pitchers in the big leagues. You also have to remember that Francesca was literally paid to be controversial during his career on the radio. He was clearly trying to get under Syndergaard's skin and it evidently worked.

With the addition of Syndergaard, the Angels have an intriguing group of talent headlined by Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, and Anthony Rendon. Thor can easily emerge as their go-to guy on the mound as well if he stays healthy.
