Aoriqileng had some stern words for his opponent Cody Durden after he made some xenophobic remarks towards him after their bout at UFC Vegas 43. Durden said: “I knew he was going to be tough but I had to send him back to China, where he came from.”

The statement led to a lot of backlash on social media with many fighters coming after Cody Durden and his past social media posts. The UFC did not address the comments after the fights.

Aoriqileng did address the comments on his Instagram though and he made his thoughts clear. The results of the fight at UFC Vegas 43 were also something he was not happy about.

“I destroyed this coward in the cage, but the judges gave him a chance to say something disgusting through his disgusting mouth,” Aoriqileng wrote. “He can do nothing in the fight, and I saw fear through his eyes. He is a coward.”

UFC flyweight Aoriqileng comes from Inner Mongolia, which is an autonomous region in China. It can be a little confusing as there is an Inner Mongolia and an Outer Mongolia.

Here is the definition to help better understand the difference, via Young Pioneer Tours.

“Mongolia is an independent country, sometimes referred to as Outer Mongolia, sandwiched between China and Russia. Inner Mongolia is an autonomous region of China equivalent to a province.”

UFC flyweight Aoriqileng was obviously not happy with Cody Durden and his Xenophobic comments. There is doubt as to whether a rematch could ever be booked between the two.
