Argentina point guard Facundo Campazzo wants to play in the NBA

Facundo Campazzo

After a great showing at the Rio Olympics, Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo told the Boston Globe he would like to play in the NBA.

The 25-year-old averaged 15.8 points, three rebounds and 5.8 assists per game – good for fourth-best in the tournament.

Campazzo possesses a skillset similar to J.J. Barea of the Dallas Mavericks. Standing at 5-foot-11, Campazzo is a good shooter that can create his own shot and finish with either hand around the rim.

His passing ability could help a lot of teams’ second unit as he has great instincts to find the open man.

Campazzo’s defense is not to be underestimated either. He nabbed 17 steals over six games in Rio, including four in three of six games played.

The young point guard is one of the most electrifying talents in the international scene. He plays for UCAM Murcia of the Liga ACB in Spain.

If you’re not sold on my words, here are Facundo Campazzo’s top 10 plays of 2016. I guarantee you will be impressed:
