The hype surrounding the Jake Paul – Tyron Woodley boxing match on August 29 has added another intriguing layer. Barstool Sports will be teaming up along with the Showtime broadcast to provide betting analysis throughout the entire card.

Jake Paul is also serving as an executive producer of the event and agreed to bring in Barstool Sports as part of the spectacle. According to sportico.com, Paul's advisor spoke about the importance of integrating the sports betting element of the event.

“Having seen how sports betting has been integrated across Jake’s events and more broadly combat sports, there was an opportunity to do something different, innovative and more integrated,” said Nakisa Bidarian, BAVAFA Sports CEO and Paul’s adviser.”

As for the specifics on the agreement between Jake Paul, Barstool Sports and Showtime Sports, Jacob Feldman of sportico.com dove into the details.

With Barstool Sportsbook sponsoring the fight, Barstool founder Dave Portnoy and Dan “Big Cat” Katz will appear regularly on the Aug. 29 broadcast, presenting betting analysis before each bout. The duo is also expected to play an integral role in the pre-fight weigh-in.

Jake Paul is 3-0 in his boxing career and Woodley will be making the switch after a long and successful career in the UFC. It will be by far Paul's biggest test yet in his boxing adventures. The fight is slated for August 29 and will take place in Cleveland, Ohio at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
