The Chicago Bears have gotten off to a hot start against the Carolina Panthers after safety Tashaun Gipson picked off quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on the opening drive. The offense has since wasted no time in capitalizing. Quarterback Nick Foles found tight end Cole Kmet for his first career touchdown, via NFL Twitter:

It will certainly be a day to remember for the rookie. Kmet is a Chicago native that was able to return home after being taken in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Although he had struggled mightily to make an impact up to this point in the 2020 NFL season, fans are hoping his impressive catch is a sign of things to come.

Meanwhile, Foles continues to prove why he was always the superior option to quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Perhaps the change under center could be just what Kmet needed in order to make his presence felt on offense moving forward.
