It has been speculated by reports that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are having some tension in their marriage. The rumors have continued to gain traction since Affleck and Lopez have not been photographed together in 47 days according to People.

The A-list couple was last seen together in New York City back on March 30. The two were seen holding hands and enjoying each other's company the outlet reports.

The two not being photographed recently after both having had large events in the last few months was alarming to fans and have since been speculated that there is trouble within the marriage. Lopez, who was a co-chair for this year's Met Gala on May 6, walked the red carpet solo earlier this month. As for Afleck, he also attended Netflix's Tom Brady roast solo. However, it could be a coincidence had events on two different coast — the Gala being in New York City and the roast in Los Angeles on May 5.

The two also have been working on films with the “On the Floor” singer shooting Kiss of the Spiderwoman and Affleck filming The Accountant 2.

Insiders are also adding more details to what is going on in their marriage as Affleck has reportedly moved out.

“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” the insider told In Touch Weekly. “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!”

“He's focusing on his work and his kids now,” the insider adds. “Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”

How Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Past Could Have Played A Part In Rumored Relationship Woes

The two previously dated from 2002 to 2004. They called out their 2003 wedding but ended up going through with it nearly 19 years later after rekindling their relationship back in 2021. Lopez spoke about their previous relationship in her documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

“Ben and I, we broke up three days before our wedding,” Lopez says in her documentary. “We had a big wedding planned — 14 ushers and bridesmaids, and three days before we just crumbled under the pressure.”

“When her and Ben first broke up, it was catastrophic to her constitution, everything that she wanted from what she understood love to be. For that to not work, for the pressures to break it apart, it just spun her out,” Dave Meyers, who directed “I'm Real,” said in the documentary.

“For all those years it was really hard, because I didn't just feel like I lost the love of my life, I felt like I lost the best friend that I ever had,” Lopez agrees. “And I couldn't talk for so many years, and that was the hardest part.”

Both having public careers, JLo embraced the spotlight while Affleck has had a lowkey profile which made the two butt heads in the past.

“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media.’ Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of, like, you’re going to marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t want the water.’ We’re trying to learn to compromise,” Lopez said in the documentary.

However, the insider says that their compromise might not have been enough to better their relationship.

“They waited almost two decades to get back together, but in the end, they just couldn’t make it work,” the source explains. “They both said they’d matured and learned from their mistakes, but some of the bigger issues that tore them apart the first time remained the same.”

Affleck and Lopez have not spoken out publicly about the reports.
