Former LSU Tigers quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow is officially the starter under center for the Cincinnati Bengals.
With the Bengals and head coach Zac Taylor selected the former collegiate standout with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Burrow's presence in Cincinnati appears to already be paying dividends for the up-and-coming AFC north franchise.

Even though Burrow only really strung together one super impressive collegiate campaign, which obviously led to him becoming the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Bengals newcomer seems to be taking things in stride—to say the least. It is also worth noting that Burrow doesn't really have much of a choice other than to pick things up in a hurry as this offseason has truly been like no other in NFL history.
“He's very confident, he's not arrogant. I think the team believes in this guy right now, but again he's earned that in the way that he's gone about his work, the way he operates in the meetings, the way he communicates with his teammates on both sides of the ball,” Taylor added in regards to Burrow. “He's filling into that leadership role as well as any young player can do right now.”
The Bengals will enter the upcoming 2020 campaign attempting to remove themselves from the cellar of the always competitive AFC North division as the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns could all prove to be legitimate playoff contenders this time around.
