The Cincinnati Bengals are currently getting blown out by the Baltimore Ravens and it's getting even worse on the injury front. According to Tom Pelissero, Cincinnati has already declared Giovani Bernard out for the rest of the game with a knee injury.

Bernard is exiting the game with a knee injury that he sustained after being tackled in the second quarter. The veteran running back jogged to the locker room but he seems to be moving gingerly on his knee.

The North Carolina product has seen a decreased role in the past couple of seasons with Joe Mixon's arrival. The versatile running back only has 48 touches for 206 yards so far this season.

Even though his role isn't what it once was, he still is able to provide valuable depth at the running back position. Considering that rookie Ryan Finley is starting, the loss of Bernard can hurt his ability to succeed in the offense.

With Bernard sustaining an injury, rookie Trayveon Williams may see a few snaps in the Bengals' offense.

Williams was selected by the Bengals in the sixth round of this year's draft out of Texas A&M. The rookie running back has seen most of his snaps on special teams and only has one snap on offense.

The loss of Bernard is significant to the Bengals due to his ability to be a receiver out of the backfield. In addition, without A.J. Green being able to return in Week 10, Cincinnati is relying on a decimated group of weapons.
