After a brutal first half, the Cincinnati Bengals pulled off the unlikely AFC Championship win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Most professional players have nothing but respect for one. However, there is undoubtedly bad blood between Bengals' cornerback Eli Apple and the Chiefs. With the Bengals' AFC Championship win, Apple is confident he got the last laugh of the season.

Go Long founder Tyler Dunne tweeted his article based on a recent conversation with Apple, where he discussed the Bengals' battle back from an 18 point deficit.

Apple recalled his emotions watching the Chiefs celebrating in the end zone, again and again, noting Mecole Hardman's touchdown celebration in particular.

“They f—– up…Any time anybody does that, it makes you mad as a defense. It makes you want to clean up stuff and make sure they don't do that anymore. And they didn't…Once you start getting stops, it's like ‘You all f—– up.' And they knew it,” the Bengals cornerback said, according to Dunne.

Hours after the AFC Championship Game, Apple took to Twitter to talk smack on the Chiefs. He targeted Tyreek Hill and called him a “baby” in response to a clip of Apple stopping Hill on second and goal to end the first half. The star wide receiver immediately clapped back at Apple and told the Bengals cornerback to “hit his line” instead having “Twitter beef.”

He even passive-aggressively offered Super Bowl tickets to both Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman, since they aren't participating this year. The Bengals are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday in Super Bowl LVI.
