Ja'Marr Chase's unbelievable rookie season hasn't slowed down with Joe Burrow resting for the playoffs. The Cincinnati Bengals standout wide receiver has been a huge part of the team's AFC North title. He set broke crazy records along the way, including one in the regular-season finale.

In the first quarter of Cincinnati's Week 18 contest against the Cleveland Browns, Chase broke Chad Ochocinco's record for receiving yards in one season for a Bengals rookie.

Although Chase got an extra game to break Ochocinco's record, it is still an impressive feat. He has been a beast all season long. His connection with Burrow, his former college teammate, has helped Cincinnati snap a five-year playoff drought and win the division for the first time since 2015.

Chase was picked fifth overall in the 2021 draft to mixed reviews. Though there was little doubt about his abilities, Burrow was coming off of an injury-riddled season and protecting him seemed like the obvious priority ahead of getting him more firepower. Cincinnati prioritizing firepower worked tremendously this year. Although the offensive line still needs work, Chase and Burrow can be a special duo for a long time.

The 2021 rookie class of wide receivers has been very impressive. But even among young studs like Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith and Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chase has proved to be the best. He has a very strong case of being the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
