The Cincinnati Bengals won their Wild Card game against the Las Vegas Raiders but lost a key part of their offense. Trey Hendrickson left the field in the third quarter, did not return due to a head injury, and immediately entered concussion protocols.

However, head coach Zac Taylor reported that Hendrickson has since cleared concussion protocol, and will play in the Bengals vs Tennessee Titans game this weekend. ESPN reporter Ben Baby tweeted the news Thursday afternoon.

This is great news for Cincinnati, but not unexpected. The defensive end was a full participant in the Bengals' practice on Wednesday, after being a limited participant on Tuesday.

Before his injury, Hendrickson recorded one tackle, one sack, and one forced fumble in the Wild Card game. During the regular season, the tight end recorded three forced fumbles and 34 tackles, 12 for loss. He also led the team in sacks with 14.0, a career-high.

Cincinnati needs all hands on deck for the upcoming Divisional Round game. The Titans earned a bye week last week as the top team in the AFC. Now, Joe Burrow and company will attempt to upset the Titans as road underdogs on Saturday.

If the Bengals pull off the win, they will advance to the AFC Championship and take on the winner of the Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs game.
