Evan McPherson may never have to buy his own beer in the city of Cincinnati. That's after he buried the game-winning field goal from 52 yards out Saturday night to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to an improbably 19-16 road victory over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional round. Zac Taylor was certainly elated to see McPherson come through in the clutch, and he made sure to show his appreciation after the game for the kicker's magnificent job against the Titans.

Via Bengals reporter Marisa Contipelli:

Zac Taylor says “the moment is never too big” for Evan McPherson. McPherson went 4/4 on field goal attempts today, including a 52-yard game winner.

McPherson likely did not expect that the contest will come down to what he does best. The Titans had possession late in the game and were looking as though they were setting up for a field goal. But The Bengals' defense rose to the occasion and intercepted a Ryan Tannehill pass at Tennessee's 40-yard line. Joe Burrow would follow that stellar defensive play by the Bengals with a 19-yard pass completion to wide receiver Ja'Mar Chase before McPherson made arguably the biggest field goal in Cincinnati football history.

Now, the Bengals will wait for the winner of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
