The annual list of the most valuable franchises in the NFL was released on Thursday and the Cincinnati Bengals likely aren't fond of where they landed. Ahead of the 2020 season, the Bengals have been dubbed as the least valuable NFL franchise, per Forbes' estimations.
For the first in history, the average franchise value in the NFL exceeded $3 billion in 2020. Furthermore, there are four teams that boast values of $4 billion or more.
To no one's surprise, the Dallas Cowboys come in as the most valuable NFL franchise, being valued at $5.7 billion. The next closest team is the New England Patriots, who are valued at $4.4 billion. The other two teams to surpass $4 billion in value are the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Bengals are valued at $2 billion entering the upcoming season. In addition to that, Cincinnati was the only NFL franchise to see a zero percent increase in value from a season ago.
