In between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers making some history and the Kansas City Chiefs looking repeat as Super Bowl Champions, The Weeknd put on quite the performance during halftime on Sunday evening. While The Weeknd's musical prowess certainly can't be denied, a slightly different than usual halftime show took place down in Tampa Bay, which caused many viewers to immediately take to social media to post their respective reactions.

Not only that, though, but there are more than a few popular memes and gifs on the frenetic Super Bowl halftime show already circulating across a variety of platforms with Twitter — per usual — leading the way with some early gems.

On the field, the Buccaneers have been absolutely dismantling the defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs. With longtime New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady currently in the midst of his first go-round as a member of the Buccaneers, it appears as though the future Hall of Fame signal caller made the right choice to head south this past offseason. The Buccaneers were leading the Chiefs by the score of 21-6 at halftime while the early portion of the second half hasn't been much different as Tampa Bay now leads Kansas City by the score of 31-9.

Hardly coming as a surprise, Brady once again came to play as a result of his 10th career Super Bowl appearance. Seeking his seventh title overall, Brady's first six Lombardi Trophies came as a member of the aforementioned Patriots while No. 7 could very well come in just his first year as a member of the Buccaneers.
