We are now right in the heart of the fantasy football playoffs! By now, most fantasy football owners have their roster set but we will provide a Week 16 drop list in case there were any concerns about trying to make the fantasy championship game. With that being said, here is your Fantasy Football Week 16 drop list. These are players you should drop off your roster and/or avoid selecting in daily fantasy.

2021 Fantasy Football Week 16 Drop List

Fantasy Football Drop List: TOUGH Choices

Marvin Jones Jr. – Jacksonville Jaguars

Jones Jr. played pretty well through the first six weeks of the season. Since then, however, he has yet to make any strides. His targets are staying stagnant at around 5-7 per game but isn't doing anything with them. The Jags are a total mess right now and Jones Jr. won't produce much for the final games. He is a waste of a roster spot as there are far better matchups at receiver. He faces some pretty tough defense in the final weeks.

Trevor Lawrence – Jacksonville Jaguars

It has clearly been a very disappointing rookie season for the former No. 1 overall pick. Lawrence had maybe four good games all season. The only time he surpassed 20 fantasy football points was back in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. Since then, it's been a brutal stretch. It isn't all his fault, however, as the team didn't play well at all its year.

The Jags will likely earn the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and will need a lot of work to do in the offseason. For Lawrence, he likely won't play well for the remaining three games. He faces some tough defenses and can be dropped in your league. There are plenty of quarterbacks that can help contribute to your roster.

Cole Beasley – Buffalo Bills

Beasley has had an up-and-down season. He's played very well in a majority of the games, but his fantasy football value is starting to go down. Beasley is getting the targets but isn't doing much with them. He ended with just four catches for 35 yards in the win over the Panthers. With him facing the top New England Patriots defense in Week 16, fantasy owners can go ahead and drop him. He likely won't contribute much as the fantasy football playoffs are here.

David Johnson – Houston Texans

David Johnson can be dropped from your team. This is an easy decision because he really hasn't contributed much this year at all. Surprisingly, he is owned in over 30% of ESPN fantasy leagues. That is too high for a guy who's reached 11 fantasy points only once all season. He just isn't the back he used to be and he won't help your fantasy team any longer.

Mike Davis – Atlanta Falcons

Mike Davis is on this list because he actually played pretty well for the past three weeks. Although, in the last game against the San Francisco 49ers, he only carried the ball six times for 21 yards. Cordarrelle Patterson is the primary back now and will continue to get the bulk of the carries for the final three games. Davis can be dropped in your league because he likely won't continue much for the rest of the season unless there is an injury that allows him to get more touches.

Matt Breida – Buffalo Bills

Since Week 10, the Bills decided to utilize Breida over Zach Moss and Devin Singletary (who started out the season on fire). That change remains very questionable and it showed. The Bills offense went from balling out with Moss at RB, to losing games with forcing Breida touches.

That move was one of the biggest head-scratchers for me this year. Breida found the end zone twice this year but his touches are going down. He finished with 0.1 fantasy points in Week 15 as he ended with one carry for one yard. Go ahead and drop Breida if you have him.
