Jose Berrios (6-5) has a 3.13 ERA. He has had a few rocky outings, but Berrios has pitched like an ace for this Toronto staff in 2024. Berrios can be counted on to give the Jays at least six solid innings per start. He usually avoids the big inning and can pitch his way out of trouble when he doesn't have his very best stuff. He carries himself like an elite pitcher, and it is important to note that after he was pulled in the American League Wild Card Series against the Minnesota Twins last year, he could have lost faith in both himself and the Blue Jay organization. He frankly hasn't gotten a lot of run support this season, but he keeps taking the mound and giving Toronto a professional outing. The Jays are not a good team, but it is not easy to bet against Jose Berrios.
