Tatum spoke to the media recently regarding his recovery from COVID-19. Celtics beat writer Brian Robb shared some of the sentiments expressed by Tatum.

Tatum is feeling pretty good and apparently much better than the first time he recovered. He contracted the virus last year as well.
There was some talk that Tatum might be able to play Sunday night against the Orlando Magic. He listed as questionable but was unable to suit up. But Tatum returned to practice Tuesday and is expected to be a full go on Wednesday night.
Assuming he plays Wednesday, the Celtics will have gone 2-2 during his absence. They won their last two games, with fellow superstar Jaylen Brown dropping 50 points in the win Sunday in overtime. The game before, Boston beat one of the best teams in the NBA, handling the Phoenix Suns, 123-108.

In the win, Boston got balanced scoring with seven players in double figures. Due to injuries and players on the COVID-19 list, the Celtics only had the minimum eight bodies on the court.
Depth aside, the Celtics welcome back Tatum with hopes to continue the recent stretch of success. This season has been filled with hot and cold stretches, and turmoil among players and coaches.
Boston is 18-19 on the season and is 9th in the Eastern Conference.
