Game one of the series on Monday saw the Guardians take the win. The Guardians took the 2-0 lead on an RBI single by David Fry. Tomas Nido homered to make it a one-run game, but the Guardians would score again in the fourth. This would lead to a 3-1 win.

Hitting wonderful this year is Andres Gimenez. He is hitting .271 on the year with a .330 on-base percentage. He has eight doubles, a triple, and three home runs, leading to 27 RBIs. Further, he has stolen seven bases and 26 runs scored. Rounding out the top bats is Tyler Freeman. Freeman is hitting just .216, but he is getting on base at a .17 rate. The Guardians have been pitching us this year, and McKenzie has been wonderful as of late. Cleveland has won three of the last four games he has started, with the only loss being because of the offensive struggles of the Guardians.
