The Green Bay Packers will take on the Minnesota Vikings in an NFC North battle in Week 11. It's time to continue our NFL odds series and make a Packers-Vikings prediction and pick.

This is a huge game for both of these teams. The Packers are coming off of a big win against the Seattle Seahawks, and another strong showing here could establish them as one of the teams to beat the NFC. Green Bay has also essentially already clinched the division, but the Vikings are the second-place team in the NFC North. A victory over Minnesota would pretty much give Green Bay the division title in Week 11.

Meanwhile, the Vikings are fighting for their playoff lives in every single game they play. Head coach Mike Zimmer has his team hanging around in the wild card race, but they can't afford to lose many more games. Beating Aaron Rodgers and the Packers would be their biggest win to date, so this is a big opportunity for the Vikings.

Why The Packers Could Cover The Spread

Green Bay has looked like one of the best teams in the league in multiple ways. They've won big games in shootouts and in defensive showdowns, proving that they can hang in any type of game. That means that Aaron Rodgers and the offense shouldn't have much trouble putting up a bunch of points here. Minnesota's defense has been about average against opposing passing games, but they've struggled when they've faced elite quarterbacks. The Vikings have already allowed big days in the air to Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, and Joe Burrow this season. Rodgers should be able to continue his stellar play and lead the offense down the field all throughout this game.

The inconsistency on offense that the Vikings have shown through ten weeks is honestly mind-boggling. They clearly have the personnel to be a good scoring team, but Minnesota just hasn't played well consistently on that side of the ball. They only managed 16 points against a Dallas Cowboys defense that has been absolutely porous this season and also only scored 19 points against the Detroit Lions. Green Bay's defense is the third-ranked unit in the NFL against the pass and the 13th-ranked squad against the run, so they should be more than good enough to deal with this streaky Vikings offense.

Why The Vikings Could Cover The Spread

While Minnesota may be an inconsistent offense, they look like they can hang with anyone when they do play well. Their stellar performances against the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals prove that. The Vikings are obviously tremendously talented on that side of the ball, and that talent may be enough to overwhelm and undermanned Packers secondary in this game. Wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen will give the Green Bay cornerbacks their toughest matchup of the year, and that should be evident in the results of Minnesota's passing game.

Despite some forgettable performances in certain matchups, this Vikings defense has been great. They rank just above average in passing yards allowed per game, but they're allowing the third-lowest completion percentage in the league to opposing quarterbacks. Minnesota has been great at generating pressure on opposing quarterbacks, as they lead the NFL with 3.2 sacks per game. This may seem like a plus matchup for the Packers, but the Vikings will present a tougher challenge than most expect.

Final Packers-Vikings Prediction & Pick

This is a fairly easy pick. The Packers have looked like one of the best teams in the league recently, and the Vikings have been nearly impossible to predict or trust. Lock in Green Bay here.
