The PGA Tour heads to Hamilton Golf and Country Club for the RBC Canadian Open! Below we will continue our PGA Tour odds series as we hand out an RBC Canadian Open prediction and pick. We will also let you know how to watch the event.

Last year, Nick Taylor was able to win the RBC Canadian Open in his home country of Canada. He beat Tommy Fleetwood after shooting 15-under par on Saturday and Sunday. He will aim to defend his gold as he tees off for the event this weekend, as well.

The RBC Canadian Open is not as well known as some of the other events, but it is still a very fun one. Hamilton Golf and Country Club should not give too much trouble to these golfers, either. It comes in at 7,084 yards, and will play as a par 70. It is not too long, and I am expecting plenty of birdie and a couple eagle looks for the golfers this weekend.

Favorite Picks to win RBC Canadian Open

Rory McIlroy: Rory is clearly the favorite to win this event, and he will be the best golfer to tee off this weekend. He is fourth in the FedEx Cup standings, and he ranks third in the OWGR. McIlroy is playing some great golf, as well. He has won twice this season, and they have both come in his past three starts. In his last start at the PGA Championship, McIlroy finished T12. If you like playing the hot hand, McIlroy is your guy.

Sahith Theegala: Theegala has yet to win this season, but do not be surprised if he pulls it off this weekend. He has five top-10 finishes, and he is coming off a T12 at the PGA Championship, as well. Theegala is fifth on tour in total strokes gained, 22nd in greens in regulation, and fourth in strokes gained: putting. He needs to get a little better around the greens, but with a little easier of a course, expect Theegala to get plenty of birdie opportunities. If he can knock down some putts, he will win this event.

Shane Lowry: Lowry is another player who is flying a little under the radar, but playing very well. He has one win under his belt this season, and he has finished in the top-10 four times. This includes his T6 finish at the PGA Championship in his last start. Lowry leads the PGA Tour in driving accuracy, and he is great with his Irons, as well. However, his downfall is hit putting and scrambling. He needs to get better with his play around the green and on it. Trust his driver and irons, though. If those are on, they can make up for some of his worse play around the green.

Sleeper Picks to win RBC Canadian Open

Cameron Young: Young seems to be a little undervalued here. He has made every cut this season, and he is playing very well. Young has four top-10 finishes, and one runner-up finish. He can really strike the ball off the tee, and his iron play is better than average, as well. One thing he needs to focus on is his play around the green, but even that is just nitpicking. Young should be able to put himself in good position this weekend. I would not be surprised to see him at the top of the leaderboard come Sunday.

Nick Taylor: This post would not be complete without last year's winner. He started the event off with a 3-over par in 2023. However, he played lights out the rest of the tournament. He does have three missed cuts this year, including his last start at the PGA Championship. However, he does have a win, and that came at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. When he is on, he is one of the better golfers on the course. He is great with his putter, but the rest of his bag could use a little bit of work. Nonetheless, Taylor has the ability to play lights out, so do not sleep on him in his home country.

Final RBC Canadian Open prediction and pick

It would be very easy to pick Rory to win this event. However, I am going to go a different direction. I love what Cameron Young has been able to do, and I think he has a great chance to win this event. I am going to take Cameron Young to win the RBC Canadian Open.

Final RBC Canadian Open prediction and pick: Cameron Young (+2500)
