It is an AL East battle as the Boston Red Sox visit the Tampa Bay Rays. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Red Sox-Rays prediction and pick.
The Red Sox come into the series sitting at 23-24 on the year they have lost four of their last five games, and six of their last eight overall before the series. That includes losing three of four at home to these Rays. Still, the Rays come into the series at just 25-23 on the year. The two will meet for the first game of the series on Monday night. Tanner Houck will go for the Red Sox. He is 3-5 on the year with a 2.17 ERA and a 1.02 WHIp. Taj Bradley will be on the mound for the Rays. He is 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.
