Until then, it is about time to gear up for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Join us for our NBA odds series, where our Mavericks-Timberwolves Game 1 Props prediction and pick will be revealed.
The Western Conference has been a blood bath all season long with a whopping five teams out west reaching the 50-win mark by the conclusion of the regular season. While the Timberwolves spent time as the top seed in the west for a good bulk of the season, the Mavericks found themselves in a battle to stay out of the Play-In Tournament. Luckily, Dallas was able to secure the fifth seed in the west after compiling a 7-3 record in their final ten games of the regular season campaign. Overall, both sides are halfway to their ultimate goal of hosting the Larry O'Brien trophy. Which team will take one step closer with a Game 1 victory? Only time will tell, but in the meantime, here are some tantalizing Game 1 prop bets that you cannot miss out on.

Mavericks-Timberwolves Game 1 Prop Odds
Luka Doncic Over 28.5 Points: +100
Anthony Edwards Over 2.5 Three-Pointers: -135
Rudy Gobert Over 12.5 Rebounds: -113
Luka Doncic Over 28.5 Points
Statistically, Doncic is in the midst of putting together is worst postseason yet, but for the second time in his young career, “Luka Magic” has led his team back to the Western Conference Finals.
Against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the WCF Semis, Doncic was often plagued by a mirage of injuries that prevented him from being 100% as the 25-year-old international star was hampered with a knee sprain, ankle sprain, and even a nagging back. Nonetheless, Doncic gutted it out in Game 6 versus the Thunder as he dropped 29 points on 60% shooting en route to recording his unfathomable third-straight playoff triple-double. All in all, the fact that Doncic is going up against the best defense in the league is a concern, but with a full three days of rest to help aid his multiple injuries, relying on Luka to score at least 28.5 at points with +100 odds is too good to pass up.
Article Continues BelowAnthony Edwards Over 2.5 Three-Pointers
Over the course of the last several weeks, the charismatic, bodacious, and confident Anthony Edwards has taken the league by storm. After downing the defending champion Denver Nuggets and the three-time MVP in Nikola Jokic during the second round of these playoffs, the sky is the limit for the 22-year-old Edwards.
With many individuals already clamoring for “Ant-Man” to be the future face of the league, one of Edwards' more improved elements of his game has been from beyond the arc. Unless you've been living under a rock, the comparisons to Michael Jordan have been pouring in from basketball analysts and fans alike, but ANT has recently suggested that he is a better three-point shooter than MJ ever was.
During the postseason, Edwards is shooting a red-hot 40% from way downtown including connecting on at least 2.5 trios in three of his last five games versus Denver. Despite shooting only 2-10 from deep last time on the floor, Edwards should be able to receive cleaner looks from beyond the arc against a Dallas defense that isn't as dynamic as Denver's was. Make sure this prop finds its way on your bet slip in a hurry!
Rudy Gobert Over 12.5 Rebounds
Recently awarded with his fourth Defensive Player of the Year award, the Timberwolves would have had no shot in overcoming the defending world champions in Game 7 without the services of Rudy Gobert. Over the years, despite Gobert's impressive resume in his ten seasons as an NBA player, the French native has often been a popular punching bag due to his inconsistent scoring ability on the offensive end of the floor.
However, Gobert's rebounding ability is top notch as he corralled 12.9 boards per game during the regular season which was the second-most in the league. With the over/under Gobert rebounds currently set at 12.5, siding on the over to hit is an intriguing thought considering it was the 31-year-old seven-footer that hit that mark in three of his last four games against the Nuggets. While Dallas does have a couple of capable bigs that they can throw at Gobert, the DOPY should be able to dominate the glass in Game 1 of this series.
