The Ball Hogs come in off a Week 4 loss to Power in a game that they could have easily won. Both teams came to play in their Week 4 matchup and the Ball Hogs saw a ton of success with their quick-fire offense. In the end, the size disadvantage for the Hogs proved to be too much as they couldn't compete down the stretch. They'll look to get back to winning as the best 2-2 team in the league.

The 3 Headed Monsters will have to do everything in this game to ensure their playoff hopes stay alive. They were without 2022 MVP Kevin Murphy in their last game. His replacement, New Williams, went 0-10 from the floor and other replacements couldn't get it going offensively. They'll need their squad back at full strength in what seems to be the most important game of their season.
To get this win, the 3 Headed Monsters will have to fire on all cylinders. Their defense will have to be sharp against the Ball Hogs' quick-slashing offense. If they're fully healthy, they'll have a chance to hang in the game with the scoring of Kevin Murphy. They'll also be the slightly bigger team, so don't be surprised if they see some success working the ball in the paint.
Why Ball Hogs Will Win
The Ball Hogs have been on the wrong side of two very close losses and could easily be an undefeated team in this league. They're the fastest team by far and have an incredible 1-2 punch in guards Leandro Barbosa and Jodie Meeks. Meeks continues to lead the way with his persistent scoring and is usually turning in a game-high total for the Ball Hogs. They played fantastic basketball last week, but their size disadvantage proved to be costly once again.
To win this game, Jodie Meeks will have to continue scoring at will. While the Hogs may be undersized down low once again, they're hardly facing a team as talented as Trilogy and could win with their speed if they're able to carve up the defense. Look for Barbosa to once again serve as a facilitator in this once and find his shots as they come.
