The Buffalo Bills could go in a variety of different directions in the 2021 NFL Draft, but Stefon Diggs has an idea of who they could target. With the draft taking place next month, Diggs is doing his best to influence the Bills to select Travis Etienne if they have the chance.

Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, the Bills hold the No. 30 overall choice in the first round after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. When looking at mock drafts, most fans and analysts have Buffalo bolstering their defense by taking a linebacker or an edge rusher.

However, the Bills also need to improve at the running back position, which could cause them to express interest in Etienne. While speaking about Etienne's skill set, Diggs likened the Clemson running back to Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints.

That is high praise for a player that has yet to log a single down in the NFL. Nevertheless, it shows how confident Diggs is in Etienne succeeding at the next level. At the same time, it could prompt Buffalo to do their research on Etienne ahead of the draft.

It remains to be seen if any team elects to select a running back in the first round in next month's draft. Other teams that could find themselves taking guys like Najee Harris or Etienne in the first round are the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. But if Etienne happens to be available when the Bills are on the clock, then it's obvious who Diggs would want the team to select.
