Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen recently received overwhelming support from Bills Mafia after his late grandmother, Patrica Allen, passed away last month. Oishei Children’s Hospital recently announced that the total donations made already exceeded the $1 million mark by way of a generous Bills fan named Sue McCollum who extended $217,000 out of her own pocket.

“I am grateful to be able to make this gift in honor of my late parents, Frederick D. and Joan R. McCollum. My parents loved their family, their hometown and we grew up knowing Sundays were made for Buffalo Bills football!” McCollum said via Syracuse.com. “They’d be proud to know they are joining the Bills Mafia in honoring Josh Allen’s own grandmother and in doing great things for the kids in Buffalo.”

The quarterback's grandmother passed away just a day before the Bills matched up against the Seattle Seahawks back in Week 9 of the season. In honor of her, Josh Allen came out with an impressive performance headlined by 415 yards on 31-of-38 passes completed and three touchdowns en route to a 44-34 victory.

Bills fans reportedly rallied in support of Allen and set up a fund in his grandmother's honor as a token of gratitude for his contributions to the hospital over the past three years.

“I know my family is forever engraved here and myself included. I don’t ever want to leave obviously,” Allen said. “I want to play here as for as long as I can and give back to the community and give back to Bills Mafia here.”

The hospital eventually revamped a section of the 10th floor of the hospital and named it the ‘Patricia Allen Pediatric Recovery Wing'. After the outpour of support, it is evident that Josh Allen and his family have already endeared themselves to the entire city of Buffalo.

He will continue to make Bills Mafia proud as he leads his team to the final game of the regular season against the Miami Dolphins before looking to make some noise in the upcoming playoffs.
