There's been a hiccup in COVID-19 tests in the NFL, with multiple teams producing false-positive tests over the weekend. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Josh Allen is going to miss practice on Sunday with the Buffalo Bills due to having a false-positive COVID-19 test.

On Sunday morning, the Chicago Bears, along with a few other teams in the NFL, announced that they received multiple false-positive tests for COVID-19. Multiple reports suggest that the lab conducting the COVID-19 tests made a mistake on testing for some teams.

It's worth noting that some teams use a different facility to complete their testing. Provided that, there are some teams that weren't affected by the sudden influx of false-positive tests.

On the other hand, the Bills were directly affected, with Allen as one of their players that saw a false-positive test. Besides Allen, five other players on Buffalo's roster returned a false-positive test for COVID-19.

Nevertheless, the Bills are taking a cautious approach and holding all of them out of practice. Allen, and likely the other players, are expected to return to practice on Monday after undergoing the proper protocols.

Heading into the 2020 season, Allen is faced with an immense amount of pressure under center. Upon the acquisition of Stefon Diggs, the Bills are expected to compete for the AFC East title this season.

Luckily for the Bills, Allen didn't produce a legitimate positive COVID-19 test. Even though he'll be sidelined for practice on Sunday, Allen should be back on the field as soon as Monday.
